I had not problems at all with the 560 ti. Just use PCIRootUID=0 until you have installed multibeast.

Had the same problem with my onboard FireWire port (VIA VT6308). Drive was visible in system report, but not mounted in finder or disk utility. After putting back the IOFireWireFamily.kext from Lion 10.7.4, the problem was fixed.
