One more surprising I got through this mod.
I have already reported that HDMI works on my 'USB-C to HDMI/USB-3.0/PD' adapter.
Now, with applying these USB mods, I found USB-3.0 ports on the adapter works as well!
Many many thanks to USBInjectAll.kext!
I have finished my modifications. It works pretty fine. No crazy pointer jumping any more!
What I did were...
- XHC1 patching to config.plist
- SSTD-UIAC mod. from RehabMan's SSTD-UIAC-ALL.dsl
- USBInjectAll.kext installation.
Attached zip contains my fruits of effort based on your advice...
Just permanently.
Having tried finding info something USB guide to disable specific device, our Alps Touchpad on travel keyboard, I haven't found enough information. Do you mind if I ask you to give me some URLs to read to start my modifications?
By the way, your El Cap. guide says installing OsxAptioFix*2*Drv-64 rather than OsxAptioFixDrv-64. Are they typo? Or OsxAptioFixDrv-64 for Sierra and OsxAptioFix2Drv-64 for El Cap?
I found small but serious issue on Sierra. When I swap 'ctrl' key and 'caps lock' key on System Preference, ctrl key behaves as if it's locked. (ie. ctrl-h works as delete as expected. And when ctrl is locked, you see led lit, just typing h works as delete! )
Thus I love to have ctrl key...
I changed hardware (side) key assignments. Based on jhax01's DTST-16 patch, I assigned brightness keys on hard keys. This is because sometimes my tablet does not revert brightness on wakeup. I hope this helps someone.

Oh. I think I misunderstood what KeyUp was. It's an on screen application, isn't it? I thought 'keyup' meant just a any key up events from any keyboard. Anyway, thanks a lot. I'll try installing Sierra!
Wow. That's great tip. I'm using VoodooPS2. Thanks a lot!
As for HDMI, actually I purchased third party's USB-C to PD/USB-3/HDMI adapter. Still USB-3.0 through the adapter doesn't work though, it seems it provides power to charge my iPhone :)
I own MBP15TB as well, MBP&elite combo is quite...
Thanks for the guide. I have installed El Capitan and it works fine except brightness on wake up (a few times) and accidental input to the touchpad. Do you have any idea to avoid such accidental touchpad input?
By the way, I found usb-c to HDMI adapter works. It's pretty much useful to me.
