UPDATE: I changed back to my original EFI folder, installed the 530 from multibeast, rebooted and now it shows 1536MB in my VRAM. I think this is correct now. Also, i don't notice the screen tearing anymore.

So I switched DVMT to 64MB, and my PC hasn't shut down about 10 minutes now (hopefully I don't jynx it like the other 2 times). But I still only see 14mb in VRAM when I check about this mac. I feel like this is the reason that OS is slow right now and screen tearing. The Launchpad is super slow...
