    I haven't installed any USB drivers, my USB 3.0 works out of the box...except for the sleep issue.

    I have gotten almost everything working after a fresh install of ML. Sleep works fine, but when I wake the computer up it complains that all the USB drives were unplugged before being ejected. The USB 2.0 devices are able to be remounted without much effort, but USB 3.0 devices completely...

    You could also try MacMan's ALC8xxHDA driver in MultiBeast. I have the ALC890b chip which is supposedly the same as the ALC889a, and it works perfect for me. Enable that driver with HDA rollback, and the ALC889a HDAEnabler if you arent using a DSDT, and it should work like you want.

    Anyone had any luck with the dreaded alc890 chip? I get nothing on my asrock x58 extreme. The Voodoohda driver seems to get some output working, but not very well. Tried easybeast, custom DSDT, and every kext combo you could think of.
