Thanks, whats the procedure for changing this? is it... 1. modify the config.plist with above snippet 2. reboot. 3. change BIOS DVMT setting to 128MB 4. Boot normal or any other clover specific way?

I didn't try moving it to 128MB, it's currently set at 96MB same as the BIOS DVMT setting. I'll be thankful and will try the patch if you can provide one @the-darkvoid.

Does it make a difference that the laptop is the Dell 9530 with 4k display - only resolution options are 1920 x 1080 scaled and 3840 x 2160.
