Tried installing again this time i tried installing the combo update without multibeast and it worked after and i need iboot to make it work.
So - is there a kernal in multibeast that enables boot from an external HDD?
It's just got weirder: no matter when I plug in the External HDD in the boot process, it just freezes- int the bios when it loads up the ahci drivers.

Recently I installed SL on an External HDD.
After the computer restart i boot from iboot and it works fine so install combo update 10.6.8 and MultiBeast.
The problem is when i restart my computer stuck on boot right where you see the logo of the motherboard.

This is the first thing I tried and after a lot of research I found out that gtx 460 needs Graphics Enabler=0 + -x PCIRootUID=1 , but THX :D
But now a new a problem when I go to Disk Utility and format the partition I made to Mac OS Extended (Journaled) it cant...

Did some search and from what I understand my problem is still waiting for root device (saw it with -v) so some can please comment and actually help and tell me what commands do I need to write to make it work ??? :wtf:

The problem is that there is two options for IDE or ACHI :
PCH SATA Control Mode ------(ACHI or IDE)
Onboard SATA\IDE control mode---(ACHI or IDE)
the second one works on ACHI but if the first one is changed to ACHI, in the boot procces i get...

A year ago I tried to install a dual boot of w7 and 1.6.6 and I quitted :oops:
now i have ubuntu 11.04 and windows 7
I5-760
P55m-ud2
Gtx-460
4g-ram
The main problem was I couldn't understand which kernals to install from multibeast and my mouse or speakers or keyboard didn't work each...
