    False alarm. It was an issue with FS (apparently, after accessing the HFS partition from Windows). The system seems to work all right now.

    I applied last update from App Store about a week ago, and since then, I can't boot the OS anymore -- it turns off the PC during the boot... I suppose the kernel update has brought some hardware incompatibility in my case.

    Hello, everyone, I've got OS X El Capitan installed and running fine. Recently, I created a Sierra USB installer using UniBeast 7, as described in the guide. But when I try to boot it, it apparently hangs after the Apple logo appears. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
