It's annoying that Apple is so stringent with iMessage. If it's about security then why is it so easy to get iCloud working? Surely there's more valuable/private data stored in iCloud in comparison to iMessage.

I think it's the degenerate garbage known as Flash Player causing the crashes. I uninstalled it and I haven't had the same errors on the videos I was watching yesterday. http://osxdaily.com/2011/01/09/uninstall-flash-mac/ You can still use it via Chrome even after removing it.

Go through the installer with that flag, once it's complete then try booting without it.

Try this flag: nv_disable=1
