I would suggest you use chimera as your bootloader, just install it into a usb disk using snow leopard. good luck ~~

It might be the hardware problem, i bought and saphire hd5770 and keep have screen driver crash on widndows and sometimes in 10.6.6, and i exchange with a new one, problem solved
