    pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i9-9900K + AMD 6600 XT

I had to reinstall everything back to 10.14.2. I needed to use FCPX for a project I am working on and my real Macbook Pro is being borrowed by someone else. Speed is back to normal on 10.14.2. Will not update to 10.14.3 until someone figures it out.

    << Solved >> [macOS 10.15.0] Thinkpad X1 Extreme Hackintosh

For those using Final Cut Pro X, Compressor, DaVinci DO NOT upgrade to 10.14.3. Upgrading to 10.14.3 will cause those programs to run extremely slow. Rendering takes forever. This was verified on another thread as well. Could be a 10.14.3 bug or a UHD630 issue.

    pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i9-9900K + AMD 6600 XT

zzmadd, I came across this thread and another post in the Graphics forum. I have a week old Lenovo X1 Extreme laptop instead but looking at your profile is your graphics card UHD630 or the AMD Vega? My system is using the UDH630. I updated it straight to 10.14.3 and installed FCPX because that...

Mojave 10.14.3 Very Slow Render in Final Cut Pro X with iGPU compared to 10.13.6 / 10.14.2

Having the same issues on a Lenovo X1 Extreme running the latest FCPX and Mojave. Tried Compressor and was painfully slow as well. Even background rendering during FCPX slows down the laptop so much that I can't even do anything basic in the background like browsing the internet. Looks like we...

    << Solved >> [macOS 10.15.0] Thinkpad X1 Extreme Hackintosh

Thanks for the guide. My mistake in my earlier post was the 2nd slot is NvME and not just SATA speeds. I installed a 1TB Samsung 970 in Slot 2. Speed is fast 2900 Mb/s for both read and write in APFS. I can read the 981 on slot 1. Speeds is 1700-2000 Mb/s for the 981 which I partitioned it to...

    << Solved >> [macOS 10.15.0] Thinkpad X1 Extreme Hackintosh

Anyone run Geekbench 4.0? I'm getting a very slow 9000 for the 64-bit benchmark score. My 5 year old Macbook pro is 15000. Video Open CL slow as well compared to my 5 year old Macbook

    << Solved >> [macOS 10.15.0] Thinkpad X1 Extreme Hackintosh

Put your internal SSD on the 2nd slot. I have two slots. The Windows SSD Nvme is on slot 1. The mac SSD is on slot 2. Even though my mac ssd is NVMe, the bios lists it as SATA, I guess Slot 2 is not NVMe but only slot 1. Perhaps that will get your install going. Also on my USB I copied all the...

    << Solved >> [macOS 10.15.0] Thinkpad X1 Extreme Hackintosh

Had the same issues. NOt sure what I did but first in Bios disable secure boot and anything security related. Boot to USB with clover, use diskutil to format your drive and and install MacOSx as normal. I got somewhat of a crash with 2 min left but its not a crash. Make sure after the...

[Guide] El Capitan on the Intel Skylake NUC

Change the ig-platform-id to 0x19260002 using Clover Configurator. I had the same problem as well as well as other graphic intensive apps. Final Cut runs as well as the other Adobe apps.
