    WEG is unnecessary, it just to fix boot apple logo, and I remember mac pro has same problem. I think use Mac Pro or iMac pro is not much different, it just personal preference.

    Everything works except Thunderbolt, Thunderbolt Dock's USB 3.0 not work. BIOS version F3c. If use Mac Pro we need MacProMemoryNotificationDisabler.kext, iMac Pro doesn't need this.

    I want to change another motherboard to use 256GB memory, but it's hard to find a X299 motherboard support thunderbolt 3. I use ASUS WS X299 SAGE/10G + GIGABYTE GC-TITAN RIDGE before.I think ASUS ROG Rampage VI Extreme Encore is better if don't need thunderbolt 3.

    I meet a memory problem, I use G.SKILL DDR4 2666 256GB (8 x 32GB), but the bios only show 128GB, and I try set memory clock to 2200, it works, I think the motherboard memory compatibility is very bad, I strongly do not recommend buying this motherboard if you want to use 256GB memory.

    @mark.ritchie @dolgarrenan After flashing the modified thunderbolt firmware, I lost DisplayPort too. So I flash back original firmware, DisplayPort and USB C to HDMI all works well.

    My Laptop is MSI GT72S 6QF-065CN,sound card is ALC898(0x10ec0899). If you have the same sound card,you can try AppleALC use layout id 11. I add it to AppleALC.

    Install 10.12.1 error

    I have do these things, 1. remove the AppleAPIC patch 2. remove USBInjectAll.kext and SSDT-USB.aml in /clover/acpi/patch 3. update clover to r3882 but it still stuck at "using 64-bit bootcache playlist".
