Installation worked perfectly easy with OpenCore 0.9.5. WiFi is up and running due to Patches described here in the
My impression is very positive on Sonoma, it is a bit snappier I think.
Update went fine from Monterey after OC085 update.
After a kext update as well as a clean-up of config.plist everything works extremely well. I do have the impression that the system is slightly faster now - to be verified.
1. Have to use HDMI, no more DP.

Thank you for your Feedback.
The whole problem is on my side. The reason for the big differences in Geekbench is not my set-up, it is rather based on the different Geekbench versions. GB5 gives lower scores for same set-up than GB4 which was used by "blouse" and others here. Also, the memory...
Hallo again,
I am driving nuts as I don't get a decent performance in Geek bench:
Also the memory frequency is shown as 1500 MHz while I use two 16GB 3000 MHz G-Skill memories. I attached my EFI folder, possibly someone can have a look at it. The System is very stable but slower than what I...
Just finished my build of almost the same components. Everything Works as it should.
However my Geekbench results are far below yours: Single: 12XX - Multi: 98xx.
Where is the biggest probability to have done something wrong in efi and config.plist . By the way, the Geekbench report shows only...
Very easy Installation on my Aorus Z390 pro wifi with Radeon RX 580 8 GB and 32GB. Usual USB issues, will take care when the final version is available
Updated with success a GIGABYTE Z77N-WIFI MB.
Did a permission repair before and after the update.
Installed the combo update, then

USB 3 was not working after reboot and system was unstable!

Thank you Toleda,
will try it tonight, however, whenever I used macmini5.1 in the many istallations I did the last days on this system I have a number of issues with USB and Bluetooth and it does not boot (checked in verbose mode).
Will let you know if and how it worked.
Thanks again
GA-H77N-WIFI + HD3000 works only thru DVI, not HDMI
Hi everybody,
Sorry to warm up this thread but I have a similar setup (GA-H77N WIFI with i3 2125 HD3000). Everything works on DVI but when I try to use HDMI the screen gets stuck when it tries to initiate the graphics output.
I have a DSDT...
I did this as well and I can't login to iCloud. Again it works with the app store, itunes and itunes match on my little hackmac but not with iCloud. I think I'll give up and don't use it on this machine. Thanks for your support.
Just to let everybody know that I still did not succeed getting iCloud to login under ML. iTunes, the shop, and everything else work. I think it has to do with the bios and/or the i3 as the definition for the mini is a i5. The problem is now also on my Lion installation after I upgraded to V6 of...
Sorry, no - it is en0 and it still doesn't work. I am driving nuts as I now tried literally everything that I could find online.
Is there probably something apple does in ML to block hackmacs from iCloud?
I want to chip in here as I have exactly the same problem since I upgraded to ML. It did work with Lion before!
I have tried all the proposed solutions from here and elsewhere on the internet without success.
I can get itunes match and the shop to work without problems but iCloud refuses to...
Just installed ML on my small sized on MSI H61I-E35 ITX board with i3 (2025). It works without a DSDT. Just installed with Unibeast for ML and the current version of Multibeast for Lion.
Bluetoth - works
Ethernet - works
Sound - works
Sleep - not yet - but not needed

Did the Combo update and copied ALC887HDA.kext back into SLE. Ran Multibeast with audio rollback. Nothing else!
And it works like a charm! Was almost as fast as on an original Mac :D
