[Guide] Creating a Custom SSDT for USBInjectAll.kext

Hi. It's been a long time since I had the need to post something here. The guides by Rehabman are great, but I have a tiny little issue here, and I've banging my head against a wall for several weeks now. I installed Mojave from scratch on a HP 840G1, and had a WiFi card with no Bluetooth (I...

"Clone" a working Yosemite Hard Disk to another, not losing settings, serial, etc.

Thanks guys for the help. I ended using my old Yosemite USB (3 months old), copied my current config.plist file from the old HD EFI partition to the USB one, installed Mac OS, used PBI to install clover and the other Probook stuff, rebuilt permissions, rebooted a couple of times (to fix Audio)...

"Clone" a working Yosemite Hard Disk to another, not losing settings, serial, etc.

Oh, Stupid Microsoft. Well, thanks anyway. I wanted to skip that, I hoped that Microsoft checked the Mac serial number, not the HD serial

"Clone" a working Yosemite Hard Disk to another, not losing settings, serial, etc.

So, can I clone a 100GB partition with Disk Utility and restore it on a 900GB one and retain my free space on that partition? Or the restored partition will be 100GB and I'll still need to fiddle with that? That could be handy, but I'd still need to store a 100+GB file on a third hard drive...

"Clone" a working Yosemite Hard Disk to another, not losing settings, serial, etc.

First of all, after checking all the forum names I couldn't find anyone that would fit my problem, so I'm posting it here (please move it to the appropiate area if necessary). The issue is the following: I have a fully working HackBook Pro installation on a HP 8460p (this time the machine is...

Porting UEFI install to BIOS install?

I stand corrected. "diskutil list" is my friend. I shall not depend on the GUI. Thanks. I'll try to work my way from here :D

Porting UEFI install to BIOS install?

Yeah, I know, but mine is an old Lenovo T61 with Intel GM950 graphics card, and the 8460p looked like a better candidate. Besides that, I was allowed by the IT staff to access the BIOS since I needed to activate the processor virtualization anyways, and they couldn't find the original password...

Porting UEFI install to BIOS install?

Hi. Last month I managed to install Yosemite stock with the awesome guide you guys have for HP laptops. I installed it on a 8460p with AMD graphics. I even went the extra mile and got its WiFi card. Heck! I even managed to disable the BIOS password on the laptop so I could enable UEFI!! (That's...
