So I now have a Universal Audio Apollo 8, Alpine Ridge rev 2.0. It works perfectly in Windows, and I've gotten it to work by turning on the unit at the same time as when my BIOS screen pops up during boot. I copied purpleronnie's settings in his first post.

Holy sheep! Well it actually turns out that I have a rev2.0. I just didn't spot it until I looked at .. er.. the label on the box!
So I guess getting Thunderbolt up and running would be a viable thing... just don't quite know how yet.
Okay, it connects. But it's real sluggish whenever setting anything up in the MOTU panel or any DAWs. So I guess it isn't really "working" but it is connecting.
Okay, I just got it working but only ONCE. It's gone again now. But what worked that one time was this:
TB support: Enabled
TB Boot: Enabled
TB Graphics: Disabled
PCI Skip: Enabled
Security: Secure Content
Reserved Memory: 256
Reserved PMemory: 32
Gonna keep tweaking things until it works.

Has anyone had any success with the rev 1.0 GC Alpine Ridge Thunderbolt card?? I've seen a few threads relating to the rev 2.0 version of the card, but nobody *seems* have got the rev 1.0 card working?!
