I have Mavericks working on my Aspire S3-391, but I continue to fight with my WiFi. I have a USB dongle that works enough, but not well (no WPA2-Enterprise on the Realtek dongle, crappy interface and sleep problems with the Ralink dongle....nothing "just works" the way a native card would)...
