If you do some research and buy the right stuff from the beginning it's really not that much work. I made sure to get compatibile hardware few years back and my hackintosh has been rock solid. I'm finally now thinking about upgrading to something better.

I'm not sure if 9800 GTX+ is really that much of a step up from 8800GT. I'd like something with a bit more horsepower :)
