Lousy news, but good find -- thanks for the reply. FWIW, my kluge was to swap the volume keys with f13-f15 (who uses those?), and use Spark to map them to their right functions. F12 already works for eject if you hold it down a sec, and that's good enough for me.

This isn't much of a "customization" question, but not sure where else to put it. I've got a Macally Icekey keyboard, and it works fine with my new hackintosh, except for the volume and eject keys. Those are supposed to require a proprietary driver, which installs fine, but the keys still don't...
