How to Prepare for Big Sur

Why, could you explain. I've read many people recommend invalid serial to avoid clashes with real Mac in future. Is a valid serial a mandatory for success - I mean iMessages, iCloud etc

    Corsair M.2 NVMe SSDs

For everyone still looking for answer - YES, Corsair NVME MP510 is working well on my hack, no hangups, very fast boot time - 2x faster than my Crucial MX500, no additional kexts required. The only thing I've added is NvmExpressDxe-64.efi to Clover drivers, not sure it is really needed.

Radeon RX 560 on 10.13.4 macOS High Sierra

Hi all there, I used to boot with WEG, but IORreg gives me some generic FB. Today I decided to play with my card and finally have success. I'm able to boot with the following patch, made by me following this excellent guide...

Radeon RX 560 on 10.13.4 macOS High Sierra

@bogdanw, isn't WhateverGreen the preferred method. After all, it is well maintained, supported, and can be deployed into clover with minimal to no effort at all. IMO, any other method (hack) is risky - something might go wrong after time or update - video encoding /decoding, performance, etc...

Radeon RX 560 on 10.13.4 macOS High Sierra

Found AMD9xxxControllerPatcher.kext (google for it), and I can boot without problem with very clear config - no InjectATI, no InjectIntel, no WEG, no AppleGraphicsDevicePolicy patch. System boot very fast, HDMI working, no HDMI audio.

Radeon RX 560 on 10.13.4 macOS High Sierra

Yes, you're right about MEI to IMEI, thanks for suggestion. About RadeonDeInit key/value - deleted and still no success. Probably my card is little different.... Edit: I'm going to buy DVI cable soon and will test again with DVI port and report then. One more thing: method 1 gives me very long...

Radeon RX 560 on 10.13.4 macOS High Sierra

Indeed. As per your config I've also checked InjectIntel - black screen, then have unchecked InjectIntel - same result - black screen but computer is working. I'm using iMac18,2. Here is my config, note AppleGraphicsDevicePolicy is disabled for the test.

Radeon RX 560 on 10.13.4 macOS High Sierra

Thank you @bogdanw for your response. Obviously I was wrong saying that my card is working with every method from #1 - Inject ATI working only if I have AppleGraphicsDevicePolicy patch. I've forgot it in my config and in result it booted both with InjectATI and method 3. Only InjectATI (no...

Radeon RX 560 on 10.13.4 macOS High Sierra

Hello, I've recently switched from GT1030 to AMD Saphire Pulse RX560 4GB OC and have some questions: Although my card works flawlessly (IMO) with every method listed in post #1, I'm still unclear which method is preferred. Also I only get Acre framebuffer with InjectATI - is this normal? Could...
