I have an Asus Sabertooth Z97 MK1 with an I7 4790k and I used Windows 7 to install my Thunderbolt EXii card. Even after performing a BIOS update the card still worked without me having to load the drivers. Make sure to set PCI to x4 in bios. No hot swapping and with mine I have to have a device...
When I boot up my machine it goes to Clover boot menu. Is there a way to have it boot directly to my Yosemite HDD when I start the machine?
I'm running OS X 10.10.4 with Clover v2.3k r3320.

Solving NVIDIA driver install problems
I'm having an issue with the Nvidia driver not working. After installing OS X 10.10.4 using Clover r.3320 I shut down the machine to install my GTX750ti SC card and it would not boot up, just would cycle to clover boot screen. I removed the card and...
So I reset my Execute disable bit back to enabled and re-did my Install Yosemite usb boot drive. I didn't replace the config.plist file. So now I get clover to start loading but halfway thru it restarts the computer and just continues to cycle thru back to clover boot menu. I can't get it to...
I was able to get rid of the kernel panic by going into bios Advanced\CPU Configuration\Execute Disable Bit and changed default fron enabled to disabled. However, now I am in a revolving Clover boot cycle. It just returns back to Boot menu screen.
Any ideas anyone?

Any tips on getting the card to wake up? I installed the Windows driver and now I see the thunderbolt menu in the bios. I'm using an Apple thunderbolt to FireWire adapter on a Newer Tech Voyager Q HD dock and can't get it to show up. Should the Thunderboltex ii card show in the device manager...
I have an Asus Sabertooth z97 mark 1 mobo and Thunderboltex ii card and wanted to know if I need to leave the Windows hard drive connected after installing the drivers and having it recognized? Can it be disconnected afterwards and removed?
