Did you happen to test the OWC Express 1M2? I have not managed to get it recognized on my system using the current NVM31. The enclosure cooks on the newer M-Series Macs. On a real 2019 Mac Pro it is recognized, but at about half the speed of the M-Series Macs.

Had a similar incident. If you boot up off your SSD, check your startup disk setting under system preferences. What OS version does it read the drive that won't boot as? Is it the correct version? Or something newer?

I'm also curious about this. I have retired my old Thunderbolt 1/2 devices and am no longer concerned with the older NVM compatibility. I also can see myself upgrading the CPU from 12th Gen. @dehjomz How are the newer BIOS files on the Formula? Wondering if there are new bugs afoot.

FYI- Thunderbolt Bus is working on Monterey with just the SSDT. Sleeping properly as well.

No luck for me on Z690 ProArt. I'm on BIOS 2103 which was before the stock NVM was upgraded. Also running latest Ventura OS.

With new firmware same SSDT, getting same sleep result. System still hangs when attempting a restart while TB devices are plugged in.

Same behavior with sleep. Also, still hangs on reboot when TB device is plugged in. Will not post. Also, UltraFine monitor is recognized in the bus, but does not activate.

So the corrected file has corrected much. All ports on the dock are now working, and Acacias TB drive working directly and through dock. Trying sleep now.

Will flash back to previous firmware and test!
