Well...i didn't make a backup...i only made one for the personal files on my hard drive. A bootable backup of my system drive does not exist.... i know, should have done this
So does this mean now that if i can't get past the kernel panic with bootflags, i have to reinstall my system? Now...

I wanted to update my 10.6.5 machine to 10.6.8 and ran into some troubles. USB and WiFi were not working, though i tried various fixed with multibeast. Apart from that my system ran very, very slow - something which other people experienced aswell. I made some searches...

it was frustrating, yet very amusing, and i still cant figure out what went wrong on my first attempt.
As said above, i formatted the ssd and started again from the beginning. i had to use safe mode, otherwise it wont let me install

anyway, i formatted the ssd on which i tried to install OS X, to be able to start again at 1.
the problem i have now is that after i insert and mount the OS X disc, it says i have to restart (kernel panic?)
