it worked for me! I added my resolution to com.apple.boot.plist with ATI's 10.6.7 kexts and now I'm on Lion with QE/CI thanks :D EDIT: False alarm, I don't have QE/CI yet also I'm using the framebuffer called Baboon

I have the same problem with my XFX 5670 it works OOB 'til 10.6.7, but no Lion support... I've already tried everything in the first post. even using 10.6.7 kexts won't work.

I have the XFX 5760 and it works with 10.6.7 OOB nonetheless it won't work on Lion, not even with 10.6.7's Ati kexts. is there anyone who made it work?

looks like your partition isn't active... or chimera didn't install correctly. try booting with iBoot and reinstall chimera, or do the fdisk -e command

I ended up staying at 10.6.7 to avoid any problems with the new ati ketxts, nonetheless the card still works in lion natively... with a lower benchmark though
