I understand it's meant for Mac Pro but it's a different GPU architecture and they must have implemented the drivers specially for MAXWELL otherwise why it's having full acceleration since they didn't release a mac version of GTX 900 series.

Okay, Is it only applied to real mac pro which didn't have boot screen with gtx 970 installed not hackintosh? Another question, it's possible to install those web drivers for GTX 970 without IGPU? I might consider switching from R9 GPU..before knowing all of problem related to GTX 970 life with...

I'm confused as why nVidia wrote those drivers for GTX 900 series to work on Hackintosh? Anyone have good explanation of what's the purpose?

I mean it didn't have the original apple boot screen just like iMac and it straight away boot to login screen for hackintosh.
