First, I must have gotten my pictures mixed up while creating my last post. Now when I redo the flags: -v npci=0x2000 PCIRootUID=0, I get the Fake SMC stage line..
Onto your most recent suggestion:
With: -x -v npci=0x2000 PCIRootUID=0
With: -x -v npci=0x3000 PCIRootUID=0
If using boot flags in combination, should they be separated with a coma? I also used "-v, -x" and instead of scrolling through the text, it again returned to the identical apple screen with the empty status bar. Will try npci=0x2000
I unplugged the graphics card, other drives, and WiFi card. Booted into bios and chanced initial display to IGFX. Saved, exited, and finally booted with "-v -x" in the boot flag box. After the screen scrolling for a big, it stopped on this page:
