I have been able to install Snow Leopard from the retail dvd to 10.6.3 using iBoot Legacy. Installed using an ASUS external DVD drive as my original optical drive failed. This only worked after going into my BIOS and setting under Performance, Multi Core Support to Off. My motherboard is MM061...
