I've tried Unibeast or a manual method such as copying basesystem.dmg and packages folder, but then I reboot, select the installer, the apple logo flashes for a split second, and the screen goes black and the system just reboots. why is this happening?

well I used kext utility, and the output said that's what it did... does kext utility do this? because I'm almost positive I did this right. UPDATE:Did another permissions repair, still no "Ethernet", only USB. no mac app store.

I read the readme, looked at IOACPIMATCH. not sure what to put for its value. I have an atheros(not realtek) ar8151, but the default value for IOACPIMATCH looks nothing like "ar8151", and I am confused what exactly to put there.
