Does anyone know what driver to install under multibeast for GA-Z97X-SLI mobo? On the website spec, it says Intel® GbE LAN chip (10/100/1000 Mbit), but that's not an option in multibeast. Thanks!

Yeah I might just try to put Mac and Windows on two separate drives. Since this is a new installation (and I have no data and stuff on the 512GB drive) I will just make it my windows drive and repartition this disk to make it entirely windows. Thanks for your help!

Turning off UEFI didn't change anything. I lost a option (the UEFI windows 7 option) but the computer still automatically boot windows 7 from other options

GA-Z87M-D3H - Yosemite installation struggles to success! Current questions related to Multibeast an

I'm dual booting from the same SSD... the problem is when I go into BIOS, I only see my Windows partition and I can't see my Mac partition... The only way my computer realizes that there is a Mac partition is when I keep my USB in and use the unibeast bootloader. Chimera bootloader is either...

That is the guide I followed in installing the dual boot system... So I actually did exactly what's on that guide... I do have the two OS's working fine (except for some Yosemite freezing now and then), I just can't get multibeast bootloader to install correctly... the guide doesn't help with...

GA-Z87M-D3H - Yosemite installation struggles to success! Current questions related to Multibeast an

Hey, how did you solve your question #3? I am having similar issues with multibeast and chimera, and I don't even know if my chimera is installed. I am doing a dual booting system with windows and yosemite, and I can boot into them fine with my unibeast USB. But I can't seem to install...

I can't really do that since I only have 1 drive. I partitioned 1 drive to install 2 systems. Is it most likely multibeast installation issue or could be something else. I have to say I'm still not quite sure what the right settings are for multibeast. If we are sure it's multibeast issue, I...

Thanks for quick responses. I really appreciated it. The problem is my OSX drive is not a choice in my BIOS... When I go to BIOS, my options are: P2: ATAPI -iHAS124 E > which boot into Windows P0: Crucial_CT512MX100SSD1 > which boot into Windows UEFI: Crucial_CT512MX100SSD1 > which boot into...

I see I will remove the USB thing to see if it fixes the freeze. My Macintosh portion is NOT booting though, at least not without unibeast USB (it goes straight into Windows 7 without the USB). That's why I was wondering if there is a way to check whether Chimera is installed... I'm relying...

How do I make changes to these files? I looked into System/Library/Extension but didn't find any files that had USB3.0 in its name... where are these files located? Also, where is Chimera installed? I can't seem to find any files associated with Chimera in my Mac... Maybe it's not installed...

    GTX970 on Yosemite

Sorry I guess I wasn't clear on my question. I was thinking about setting up my dual-booting system this weekend. But my GPU won't be here until next weekend. So I was wondering if I can complete Yosemite installation this weekend without the GPU (with no change to kernel flag, just use the...

Hi, Just a follow up, because I wanted to confirm compatibility before ordering, most of my parts are here except for my GTX970 graphics card (ordering now). Is it possible to set up my hackintosh without my graphics card first (just use the one on motherboard), then change the settings...

Dual boot system with Yosemite and Windows 7

Thank you so much guys.. What's concerning me is that I want to use GTX970 that needs some tweaking before it is compatible with Mac (Yosemite). When I was reading about dual-boot on custom PC, I was under the impression that it can easily be done with unibeast. But when I was reading about...
