Big Sur 11.1 Open Core 0.6.4 z490 Gaming G WiFi not work

Have you figured it out? I'm having install issues too. I have almost the same build as this, except I have the i7-10700K CPU, Gigabyte Radeon 5700 XT, 64Gb Hyper-X RAM, 1TB NVME m.2 drive. Since this is a new build I don't have access to a Mac OS computer so I'm creating the OpenCore 0.6.4 USB...

[Guide] Booting The USB Installer Using OpenCore

Hi, When downloading kexts from Github, I've noticed that most don't have the .kext extension on the files. Like VirtualSMC for example. All the files in the Releases.zip don't have .kext on any of the kext files. Is it as simple as just renaming the file and add .kext to the filename? Or is...

    macOS 10.15.6 Supplemental Update

Before the update, I updated Clover to 5021, and installed the latest kexts using Clover Configurator and did a CCC and Time Machine backup. But just like the last couple of updates, I'm still getting some weirdness at the end of the install where it says it failed to update due to something...

    macOS 10.15.5 Supplemental Update

I'm not getting the build number "19F101" on the "About This Mac" splash screen after running the update. But I am getting the supplemental build number when I do a "system_profiler SPSoftwareDataType" in Terminal so I'm guessing the update went well. But I don't understand why it's different...

    [Release] Hackintool v3.x.x

Hi I just updated to 10.15.3 today from 10.15.2. I created a SSDT back in Mojave and carried it forward into Catalina. I have a Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD7 TH Series 9 motherboard. I know I should probably re-create a new SSDT but all my USB's work except I sleep issues that I didn't have in Mojave...

    No wifi after catalina

I'm having the same problem since installing Catalina. I have a TP-LINK TL-WDN4800 Dual Band Wireless N900 PCI Express Adapter. It's worked flawlessly since Yosemite thru Mohave. But Catalina won't detect it. There is no WiFi choice in System Preferences/Network. System Info only states this...

[Guide] How to hide unwanted volumes on Clover boot menu

Or you could've just check the "Legacy" check box under the "Scan" section of "GUI" in Clover Configurator. That would've saved you having to type the names of those Legacy volumes in the "Hide Volume" section. But either way works. It's nice to know there's usually more than one way to skin a...

[Guide] Creating a Custom SSDT for USBInjectAll.kext

I don't know what repo ZIP is or git clone is since the link just loads a text page. I did follow Feartech advice of copy & paste into a "New" file in MacASL and that worked. The instructions about the Device ID were a little confusing, but after staring at it for a little bit, I saw what you...

[Guide] Creating a Custom SSDT for USBInjectAll.kext

Okay so how do I get the text from the webpage into MacASL? Rehabman provides no instruction in Post #1 on how we're supposed to proceed.

[Guide] Creating a Custom SSDT for USBInjectAll.kext

Okay this is part where I'm lost. How do I edit the SSDT-UIAC-ALL.dsl template? When I click on the link it brings me to a webpage. So what do I do next? I copy the text from the webpage and edit it where? In Textedit? Textedit won't let me save it as a .dsl, so something tells me that Textedit...

[Guide] How to hide unwanted volumes on Clover boot menu

If you're going to use the Clover Configurator app to mount the EFI partition, then just use the Clover Configurator app to enter the entries into the config.plist. No reason at all to use PlistEdit Pro when it's easier just using Clover Configurator. After mounting EFI with Clover...

    macOS 10.13.6 Update

When I click on "Mount EFI" in Clover Configurator I don't see anything at first, nothing happens. If I click it a bunch of times I start to see in the Partition Scheme window the "Size" word changes to "Capacity In Use". But I'll see "Capacity In Use" pop up on all sorts of partitions, not just...

    macOS 10.13.6 Update

Computer booted 3 times during update install, plus one more reboot for the updated Nvidia web driver. The only problem is now I can't mount EFI partition from Clover Configurator. I have to use EFI Mounter v3 and then I can load the config.plist in Clover Configurator. Running Clover 4586 and...

    macOS 10.12.5 Update

I updated to 10.12.5 yesterday, 5/21, and after a couple of reboots, my fans are running at full speed now. Does anyone know what's up with that? The fans don't kick in at full speed until after I log in to OS X. They ramp up and down as normal while booting and idles down when it gets to the...

    Fix Sleep on Sierra

Okay, so right after I left post #225, I walked away and my computer it apparently did finally autosleep. But when I woke it up just now, I had the "Your Computer was restarted because of a problem" message. "Problem Report for Sleep Wake Failure" Date/Time: 2017-03-09 10:06:36...

    Fix Sleep on Sierra

HorchaudiBMW, Doesn't "IGPU" stand for "Internal Graphics Processing Unit". An IGPU would be the Intel HD 4600 Graphics. I have my IGPU disabled in BIOS and I have an Nvidia GTX 770 video card in PCI slot 1. I'm using the latest drivers.
