So I have a GTX 980 installed with the latest version of the nVidia web drivers, and constantly when unlocking from the lock screen, the system will crash back to the login screen (everything will close and I have to login like its from boot). It happens randomly as well. I know this is an issue...

I tried this kext on 10.10.1 with an EVGA GTX 980, and HDMI audio still isn't working. Any ideas?

I'm getting constant crashes back to the login screen on both the f01 drivers and the new f03 driver. This happens right after I log back in after it was locked. Anyone else experiencing this issue or have any ideas? (I have a EVGA GTX 980)

Imo, the card you picked is fine, since After Effects is not GPU accelerated and therefore won't make any difference in rendering performance.

I don't know why you guys are getting ghosting issues. I'm using a Gigabyte 6670, and I just set the framebuffer to Bulrushes and the card is working 100%. (No ghosting, DVD player works, sys profiler shows card as 6670).

Gahh, you overwrote the windows bootloader. This happened to me once, and I was never really able to fix it. What happens when you run fixmbr from the windows repair prompt? Also, next time, install windows last, then burn yourself a copy of gparted, boot into it and set the OS X as the boot...

I'm assuming the installs are on two separate HDDs?

You probably will get a higher framerate in lion with this card due to newer drivers.
