Congrats to your success! I have the same motherboard, but with haswell cpu, even the installer freezes.. Tried changing some bios settings (secure mode disable, c states, etc), no luck so far.

Based on your experience (deleting tmsafetynet.kext results reboot upon the kext loaded before tmsafetynet) it might be the computer restarts not because loading tmsafetynet.kext, rather trying to load the kext AFTER tmsafetynet.kext. Any idea which kext should be loaded after tmsafetynet.kext?
