    Dual Xeon Motherboard Recommendations 01.2015

I created a Hackintosh build using a Super Micro X9SRA board and another build from a Gigabyte GA-7PESH3 board. Maverick can be installed using Chameleon/Chimera. However for Yosemite you will need to use Clover. Make sure that you have vt-d disabled in the bios. Both BIOS's Support EFI/UEFI...

Yosemite 10.10.1 and dual ASUS R9 290 (non-X) reference GPU

aunaste If you use two AMD cards and one is not a r90x, then you can set the second card as your main monitor and FX Factory will load. After you install it, then you can set the 290x as your main monitor again. (assuming you are only using the plugins within your video editor). Every time you...

R9-290x woes - Spinning beach ball before login screen appears

@rkellyrtp I have the same problem as you with the Sapphire R9 290x. I have tried this on the Gigabyte GA-7pesh3. This is also a dual socket setup with 6 cores per CPU. I'm using a 1300 Watt power supply so I do not believe that is the issue. However, I do have a Supermicro x9sra (single...
