Re: Anyone use ASUS P7P55D-E success??
Hi, beelzebozo,
Thank you very much for your reply, actually, I just saw your installation guide for P7P55D. And I followed all your parameter sets in MultiBeast, finally, it worked with Geforce 7300GS!!!!!!It's like getting out from an inferno and get...
I try to search key word "P7P55", then I can see several P7P55 LX , P7P55 -M and so on.
P7P55D-E seems not a popular MB for hackintosh....
I got a P7P55D-E with a gigabyte Geforce 7300.....didn't work.
I download DSDT for P7P55D-E and follow the same instruction. I did install retail 10.6.3 on...
I think I would probably postpone my new hackintosh plan since the Lion is available online ONLY.
Although it's o.k. to stick with snow leopard, I really like the new features on Lion.

2. No...
Tony, I got it, thanks for your reply. :D
I think I will simply use an old Geforce 7300 for a while, and waiting for new driver for HD3000.(I hope it will be available in the futrue :D )
I didn't built my desktop hackintosh yet, but I did have a hackintosh notebook on Thinkpad X60s.
Given the same CPU and RAM, I think the performance won't be a significant difference.
You can compare the Geekbench score posted in this forum and the corresponding apple machine...
Dear all,
After several research, I decided to choose GA-Z68MX-UD2H-B3 as my first hackintosh motherboard because 2011 iMac also use Z68 chipset. (which means more compatibility with future Lion?? )
I think the most important feature of Z68 series is the integration of SB processor HD2000/3000...
