This works with the official Realtek driver for 10.8, looks like it hasn't been updated in a while, but I'm posting using my Edimax 7811un right now on Yosemite. I've mirrored the file to my dropbox. https://db.tt/oyvagjgM

Acer C720 ML Laptop a work in progress.

... It's not exactly a Windows laptop, lol... It'll run it, begrudgingly... I think I took a screenshot of CPU-Z a while back after installing Windows 8. EDIT: eh, here I go, I'll install Windows 8.1, I have a freshly installed copy of Ubuntu 14.04 on there, it's no big deal to wipe it...

    What is your Geekbench Score?

10.6.5 Core i7-870 @ 3.2ghz BCLK via FSB 2x2gb 1600mhz ram @ 1425mhz (9-9-9-27 IIRC) GA-P55A-UD3 score = 10038 64 Bit Kernel (32 Bit version of GeekBench) also had to set advanced CPU settings to enabled to have throttling hit full speed. Only reason I clocked it up 200+mhz was to hit 10,000+

    H55M-USB3 with 9800GT problem

Try booting into safe mode, delete the nvenabler(64) kexts, try the com.apple.boot.plist graphicsenabler=on 64 bit, see if you can use it without the enabled, graphics always seems to be biggest pain with osx86. *oh yeah run both system options to rebuild caches, etc*

9800GT problems (at least I think) *GENERAL PROBLEMS TOO!*

Re: 9800GT problems (at least I think) I dont even have a >1tb drive in the computer, so not a problem. As for what sata ports the 3 drives are hooked up to, they are the *blue* Intel SATA ports, I don't think the numbering is a real issue, especially since i'm able to boot using a older...

    GA-P55A-UD3 woes

So i'm poor, and all I have for cd/dvd drives and HD's are IDE, I can't seem to use and of Tony's boot CDs successfully. I'm guessing its due to the fact that I'm using IDE for both installation media and the hard drive. Since I get the "still waiting for root" kernel message. I've changed...
