Clover > full graphics acceleration not working with HD4600

You're using HDMI only? Eek. Not so sure about that. I was using DVI with the HD4600. I got on here to say, though, that with Yosemite the HD4600 works out-of-the-box (using DVI). All that's required in Clover is "inject Intel." I booted the first time and I'm pretty sure I had QE/CI. There...

Clover > full graphics acceleration not working with HD4600

Alright. So I made a little partitioning mistake and had to reinstall Mavericks. I decided to go through the HD4600 steps again, even though I had been using my HD5570 graphics card. It was/is a nightmare. I tried the exact method I used before and I could not get the thing to work. There were a...

GA Z87X-UD4H, HD 4600 Graphics, and Clover

Hello all. I used this method to great success on my build. It was incredibly easy and I had everything working (sound could be a little buggy at times). Unfortunately, I had to re-install Mavericks after some not-very-wise partitioning. Now, if I do not put in a fake ID my machine doesn't...

Clover > full graphics acceleration not working with HD4600

Ok. Do not patch *anything* except audio, because it's not necessary. Of course this is my opinion, but why would you modify files and install kexts when using Clover? Just use the Configurator. I've detailed a lot of what I think you should do above. There are people that have gotten the 4770k...

Clover > full graphics acceleration not working with HD4600

Ok. Don't do any of these things. They should not be necessary in Clover. I have the HD4600 and the patch is pointless in Clover. Just do injection!

Clover > full graphics acceleration not working with HD4600

Good input. I'm thinking that the HD4600 ig-platform-ids change with the processor. Unfortunately, from what I read, those ids are a trial and error thing, they work or they don't. You should list your processor on your profile because that's much needed information. I did find a post that...

PS - Make sure you set the SMBIOS stuff to iMac 14,2 (14,1 should work also, but I'm using 14,2 just fine). Again, it's the LEFT drop down, then do the "shake" on the two lines and save your plist.

    Clover never works

You installed Clover from Windows? If you're attempting to install bootloaders in Windows I wouldn't do that. I'd just boot into your installation and re-create your USB media using the downloaded Mavericks installer and Clover. Did you use this guide...

Clover > full graphics acceleration not working with HD4600

First, little disclaimer...I'm relatively new to this. After giving your config.plist a cursory glance I'm seeing some things that are off. It looks like you, or someone else, manually edited the plist because there are values in there that shouldn't be (like "NO" where there should be a...

Clover > full graphics acceleration not working with HD4600

Yep. That's your problem. Your "Fake ID" fields should all read "0x0" - sans quotes. I'm quite the "noob" in general so I find it difficult to know where the configuration tools (Unibeast, Multibeast, Clover Configurator, etc.) overlap, hence my recommendation to try to be as vanilla as...

Clover > full graphics acceleration not working with HD4600

Early Adopters > Mavericks on a Gigabyte H/Z97N-WIFI using HD4600 - No Graphics Card Needed! I had the same problem! What you need to do is get the Clover Configurator which is basically a fancy config.plist editor. Mount the EFI partition in the Configurator (normally hidden in OSX...

Early Adopters > Mavericks on a Gigabyte H/Z97N-WIFI using HD4600 - No Graphics Card Needed!

Have you considered doing a Clover guide? I made the jump and it really wasn't that hard. I figured that the time I would spend reinstalling Windows (so that Chameleon/Chimera would recognize it), could be spent actually learning something. Clover seems more stable. There was definitely less...

Early Adopters > Mavericks on a Gigabyte H/Z97N-WIFI using HD4600 - No Graphics Card Needed!

When you update you rewrite the kexts you installed previously with Unibeast (and separately in the guide). Did you boot in safe mode and then go through the Multibeast procedure again? I updated and that's what I did. I have nearly the same system. By the way, my updated installation was...

Early Adopters > Mavericks on a Gigabyte H/Z97N-WIFI using HD4600 - No Graphics Card Needed!

Hey there Stork. Great work. Was a breeze once I was finally able to get a working Unibeast install. A few things I noticed (I have the exact same build as you, I believe): 1. There seems to be a popping sound every time I do something that requires audio. It pops once and then sound will...
