    [Success] SquadSeven's Build - i7 4770k - GA-Z87X-UD3H - 16GB RAM - GTX 780 3GB

Thanks for this. Seems to work perfectly on my machine. I don't know what BIOS I had, but I was experiencing weird audio issues. It would start to crackle after 3 minutes and progressively get worse until it cut out. My USB also seemed to be funky, as my mouse would skip around the screen a...

Micro Center Black Friday Ad is out > i7-4770K is on sale for $250 & i5-3570K Ivy Bridge for $150

Thanks so much for this! I was able to pick up the GA-Z87X-UD3H for $129 and the i5 4670 for $199 from the local store last night. Installing OS X was never so easy! I was about to pull the trigger on Amazon, but this saved me $30. Can't argue with saving money.

I had a similar sounding problem as yours, so here's what I did to fix mine. First, I moved my monitor from one DVI port to the other one on my video card. I also made sure that any onboard video (built into the MB) was disabled in the BIOS. This cleared up the issue for me. Not sure if it...

Very (unusably) slow welcome wizard after first install

I had the same issue as well. I tried many different combinations of install methods and none of them worked for me. I made two final changes. Since my video card (570) has two DVI ports, I switched to the other one. Also, in my bios, there's an option which PCI video device to pick up...
