    I borrowed a usb key, and at least now I'm able to boot from the original Sierra installation (updated to 10.12.6, I see) through the usb key, but in no way I'm able to boot from the disk. Once the original Sierra installation was available I tried also to download and install the updated...

    not having other clues I tried to put those two options into the 'boot args' line but no changes at all, I always get that black screen with the flashing cursor.

    I know I feel stupid, but I tried and I'm completely unable to get those options... when I press space bar I get only a screen with two options, boot clover and return.

    Problem is that I can't boot Mac OS, I can only access the Clever screen at the initial boot but nothing more.

    No, because a far as I remember I need a usb key for any operation with Clover and actually I haven't it. There's a way to update Clover working with the EFI partition from the windows side?

    For me the update from 10.12.4 to 10.12.6 was ko (i7 4770K, Asus 780, iMac14,2), I get only a blank screen with a flashing cursor in the upper left corner of the screen, nothing more. I'll open a specific thread in the support section.

    That's my almost identical problem the only difference is that my screen is normal, not like yours. I found no differences with and without the alternate drivers but I need to try again.

    That was the original configuration before the last test but I'll do that again... just a question (probably stupid but I don't know the answer): do I need to change the config.plist on the disk or the one on the usb key?
