My situation is a little different. I never get the noise in Windows, regardless of C3/C6, which I have on in my BIOS. The only time I get the noise is when using a SSDT file.

I just discovered something else. I reinstalled Chameleon (using the DSDT from the DB) because my BIOS was reseting when I rebooted after sleeping. That is now fixed, but the squeal no longer goes away after sleep. :(

I discovered that if I put my machine to sleep and then wake it up, the noise goes away. I still get my normal geekbench numbers, so the fix is still in place, but for whatever reason, after waking from sleep, it is quiet again. If I reboot, the squeal returns. It is possible it will return...
