Maybe, but why would the installer fail too? Originally I thought this might be the case, but windows boots and works perfectly, so I'm having a hard time believing its a hardware failure... I will boot in verbose mode and see if I can capture that.
I did a bios update a few months ago, which didn't seem to make any difference.
Windows and MacOS are on separate drives. I will have to figure out zip that folder via Windows, cause I have no access from Mac side...
Hey guys.
I'm not sure if anyone here has dealt with this but... this is crazy.
My machine was working perfectly for months until yesterday. I haven't made any system updates, nor done anything outside the norm of doing audio/video production. It simply refuses to boot now... and not because...
Solved this btw.
After a grueling 3 days of trying everything... Reinstalling OSX... etc... I finally figured out that if I hit "gather windows" under system prefs (displays), I could click on the monitor settings that were hidden on that monitor. Then I just went to 50hz PAL... and boom it...

I am having major issues with a pair of XFX R9 280x. I can get them to boot, but the graphics are glitchy and I can't change the display resolution to anything but 1600x1200 (and I need 3440x1440). Suggestions?
I cann
I can't for the life of me get past the black screen on boot with clover/El Capitan. I can get the HDMI port to work, but not mini display... thoughts?
Hey guys...
I'm new to this site, and new to building a Hackintosh...
I make electronic music, and have been using a MacPro 8 core for awhile in my main studio. I've been using a PC at home for my smaller studio... but am ready to upgrade to a newer one, and don't really want to use PC...
