[Guide] Razer Blade 15 (2018) Detailed Install Guide High Sierra 10.13.6 (17G2208-17G5019)

That's pretty much where is got stuck last time I tried fixing this. I couldn't find anything useful either. I'll maybe look into it later but I don't have high hopes. Edit: Looks like the guy on github got a little further...

[Guide] Razer Blade 15 (2018) Detailed Install Guide High Sierra 10.13.6 (17G2208-17G5019)

@Br4inlag Of course I couldn't let it go lol. Spoiler: I found nothing. As far as google goes, other than that Xiaomi laptops seem to have the same issue and one guy was recently wondering if this is fixable, there is nothing on this. Either no one cares or this is isolated to the blades and...

[Guide] Razer Blade 15 (2018) Detailed Install Guide High Sierra 10.13.6 (17G2208-17G5019)

Huh, I'll try that next time but I think I did at some point and it never worked until it reached the white led. Saves some time I guess :P Yeah I've spent so much time on this thing to get all the patches right, the dgpu battery drain thing, opencore, that I just didn't feel like digging any...

It doesn't really matter how you put it to sleep, you can also just close the lid. What I found is that the power led has to reach the white state before waking it back up (which is proper sleep instead of the "preparing to sleep" green mode, whatever that is called). You can also keep the...

@BlvckBytes Hmm so if you also have the DW1560 that's probably not it. I really thought the touchscreen might be it.. Maybe it's just some app that is running in the background? You could also check for ACPI errors/warnings. log show --predicate "processID == 0" --last 48h --debug | grep -i...

[Guide] Razer Blade 15 (2018) Detailed Install Guide High Sierra 10.13.6 (17G2208-17G5019)

Okay so first off delete LiluFriend. Secondly, did you run sudo kextcache -i /? Next, you have both FakeSMC and VirtualSMC installed. Remove FakeSMC and get the latest VirtualSMC here. Replace VirtualSMC.kext and SMCBatteryManager.kext in c/k/o. For the black screen thing it looks like your...

[Guide] Razer Blade 15 (2018) Detailed Install Guide High Sierra 10.13.6 (17G2208-17G5019)

@sirtailios that looks better. It should at least work in polling mode the way you did it now.. So, a few things: It looks like you now have all your kexts in both /Library/Extensions and Clover/Kexts/Other. Delete the ones you put in /Library/Extensions and update kextcache with sudo...

Apply one of the fixes (either stonevil dsdt method or my hotpatches), post your efi again and I'll check.

[Guide] Razer Blade 15 (2018) Detailed Install Guide High Sierra 10.13.6 (17G2208-17G5019)

Well no wonder, you still didn't apply the trackpad patches. Either follow stonevils guide on github or use the ssdts i provided here. All of the things I told you in that post are still true for your DSDT: No SSCN method, probably also wrong pinning and wrong _crs method. For audio in...

@BlvckBytes Which WiFi card do you use? Maybe it's something similar to this thread: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/apple-airport-card-hackintosh-instant-wake-issue.276921/page-3 You could also try some of the hotpatches from here...

Did you change: Chipset -> System Agent (SA) Configuration -> User Chipset -> System Agent (SA) Configuration (Folder) -> System Agent (SA) Configuration -> User Did you flash back the modified bios?

Mine still works with with max battery, hope you got yours working. I'm getting a good 5 - 6 hours now, which is fine. Depends on what I do of course. Other than using Safari instead of Chrome there isn't much that could be done to increase battery life and I just can't stand Safari :D

Well that was confusing lol I don't think USBInjectAll is obsolete, it's just a different approach. If you use SSDT-USBX you need InjectAll and that's fine. My problem was that doing it this way would display external HDDs as internal. Maybe it screws up sleep in your case. I'd suggest using...

    Sleep issues

@BlvckBytes it might be a USB issue like @Feartech said. XDCI is a USB controller and usually if you wake your laptop with a USB device (like a keyboard) the wake reason will look similar: Wake from Normal Sleep [CDNVA] due to XDCI XHC/UserActivity Did you use hackintool for the usb mapping...

Gotcha, I didn't know updates could reset that setting (hasn't for me so far, fingers crossed). Still though, personally I prefer changing it back if it becomes a problem, but to each their own :)

    Sleep issues

@Feartech @BlvckBytes I don't think deleting the sleepimage is necessary, as hibernatemode 0 already disables hibernation. As far as I understand sleepimage is only used for hibernation so that and possibly autopoweroff 0 should already do it without modifying system files (although I don't use...

You're right I didn't clear the search field  My output is identical to yours, hmm. Not sure what to do from here honestly. I'll try the max battery mode on my machine, I've been meaning to do that anyway.

    CPUFriend

Hm you're right, it doesn't look like there's anything going on. You used the generated CPUFriend.kext and CPUFriendDataProvider.kext from your desktop, right? You could try the Balance Power profile too, that's what I'm using at the moment. Maybe the max battery life thing is just buggy. I had...
