Hi Guys,
I've recently purchased the Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro, not sure if i can install Yosemite onto it, but eitherway will be selling my Samsung 700t1c.
Thanks for all your help.
His PC is almost the same as mine.
Rehab man, i've ran out of options, i'm just trying to make this guys settings work, somehow his power management works, so i just applied all his kext and my pc seems to function, the only thing left is the config.plist otherwise i need to figure out how to...
Download and install intel power gadget.
Download and install geekbench 3, see if the freqency goes up when you run geekbench 3.
I'll be really interested!
if you could take a screen shot that would be great!
Thanks
Thank you very much for your time and effort!
Can i buy you a beer?
EDIT: So i did a fresh install begining with this:

Then went to this...
So re-implement? Or How would you go forward from here? or should i even try? I mean not sure what i can do differently, Am i the only guy with a 700t1c who is experiencing this issue?
Right, so i did that, and it seems that the GPU P-State do vary but the CPU once do NOT, always on the lowest state (8), Thanks!
P.S. I ran the geekbench benchmarking so it should have really tested the CPU.
P.P.S. not sure if this is relevant, but when i remove all my SSDT's my PC is at 1.6...
Before posting on this thread i went of the instruction in a power management guide and the first thing it asks you to do it put the kext into the /kext/10.10 folder to verify what you have. I never removed it from my PC.
Okay so i should turn my computer on and see if it has the set minimum...
Hey Rehabman,
Thanks again, however I have had that installed from the beginning of all this, open up those old files in http://www.tonymacx86.com/mountain-lion-laptop-support/89027-guide-samsung-ativ-smart-pc-pro-xe700t1c-43.html#post953836 you will seei had them in place all along.
What am i...
So i tried that, and it seems that for the first time ever i see the figure next to the frequency go up, Ghz, went up to 0.4 then back down to 0.35, the frequency is still flat 800mhz.
Any other ideas?
Thanks
Yeah it's a bit weird,
Check this out, add one to the top, 20 states
add one to the bottom, 19 states.
add one to top and bottom, 20 states.
Am i loosing my mind here?
Anyhow can i just inject it myself by coping the bottom state and adding it to the bottom?
Thanks RehabMan,
Let's forget that comment when i said i couldn't find it i was opening the wrong file.
So i removed the top pstate, it starts and picked up the changes i can clearly see the CPU is now at 800mhz vs the 1600mhz it was before, but it's still flat never goes up or down. Any ideas?
