You just posted this as i read about just that :) This is in fact a old WD raptor 80gb i installed Mavericks on to see if my setup was suitable for Hackintosh. I just fumbled around with some other boot loaders and got a big time crash. Wont do that again ! Total crash and reinstall. I will...

Still no dice .. When i boot with only the Mavericks disk (after Chimera install) it just stalls for a while and jumps straight into Bios. Part from this boot issue, everything seems to run awesome ! Any other ideas, suggestions ?

Thanx :) No good, jumps straight into windows 7. If i only have the HDD with Mavericks installed attached, it just jumps into bios. Any ideas how to solve this ? I can live with having a usb stick as boot, but would be great to not have 5-6 icons there.
