Just wanted to say, this board has worked wonderfully for me for over a year. no issues with sound/Ethernet at all. Very stable on 10.8.2. will be going to Mavericks soon with a clean install. I intend to get many more years out of this board.

resolved. used the Lnx2Mac Realtek driver instead of the official one from Realtek and now facetime works! I was having random kernel panic with transmission too and I am confident this will resolve that issue as well.

i use a ms wireless mouse and it too was glitchy, tried a bunch of apps and pref panes t get it working, and the solution for me was to move the dongle from the rear usb port to the front, now it just works. not sure if your issue is the same but i think mine was interfering with the keyboard...
