    Sorry for the late response. I just tried both and they do quit unexpectedly. What does that mean? On another note, my blu-ray drive is recognized as well as the discs. I can also play the m2ts files through VLC although they hang every 5 seconds and then resume...

    After about a week and a half of tinkering and experimenting, i finally got my hackintosh up and running about 95%. The only thing im missing is HDMI audio, which i can't for the life of me figure out. Anyone had success with getting HDMI audio from an ATI 5xxx card?

    Disregard, my problem was i was using an IDE DVD Drive. I switched to my SATA BD-R and it worked like a charm. Make sure you're using a SATA optical drive if you're having problems installing! (in verbose mode it'll give you "still waiting for root device" error)

    Hi everyone, hope someone here can help. I can't for the life of me get to the SL install screen, i keep getting stuck at the gray Apple logo and spinning icon, it doesnt budge from there. I've tried booting in safe mode as well as with the pciroot=0,1,2 flags. I also have my bios set to AHCI...

    P8H67-M, set hpet to 64bit

    matukaru, did you get it to accept the install by unplugging your video card? I also have the P8H67-M Pro but i still can't get past the grey kernel panic error screen :x
