macOS 14.4.1 Update

Success, I think. This one ran more like most previous updates, with an expected progress dialogue, unlike the 14.4 updater. Nothing is broken, though I temporarily lost SMB connection to a NAS drive.

Success! with AirportItlwm 2.3.0 Alpha.

All went fine here. I just disable the Fenvi T919 with OCLP before update (to be faster), and I already have my SecureBoot set as disabled permanently. I run the OCLP to patch back the Fenvi, after the update, and everything seems to be working just perfect. Boot chime working, and I didn't notice anything wrong so far.
It just asked me to login again in my iCloud account, and in my genuine MacBook didn't.

Anther quick and easy MacOS update for Sonoma 14.4 -> 14.4.1
Install time was around 20 mins with the usual 3 reboots.
Booting via OpenCore 0.9.9 + Latest kexts.

Like the last 14.4 update you must set SecureBootModel to Disabled before attempting the update.

Z490 Desktop system 1 (see White Knight 2.0 in my build sig for full specs)

NOTE: I a not using OCLP to patch WiFI.

Cheers

Successfully updated to 14.4.1 on my Ryzentosh build. Needed to add revpatch=sbvmm to bootargs to see the updates.

straightforward. scary description, but following the instructions for SecureBoot makes it easy.
