I found zips for OpenCore 0.9.8 on this web page, under "Assets," but that's not the usual place. Is this a preliminary copy, or has the publication location changed?

Yep, that's where I always got previous downloads, but since it's now later than "First Monday of the month" as usual, I thought maybe the publish location had been moved. The download from my link above looks complete... should I wait for your link before updating? More changes, maybe?

That tradition of releasing on the first Monday no longer exists.
 
Maybe because the first Mon of this month was Jan 1, and because New Year's is the biggest holiday in Russia (it is the equivalent to Christmas in the West), they took this month off.

They may be jumping to the 1.0 release version and releasing that on Feb. 5th. That's my guess.
 
I guess I downloaded the latest "nightly build" OpenCore-0.9.8-RELEASE. I won't use it... instead will wait for the public release as always. I did notice that the online OpenCore Manual has been redlined to 0.9.8.
