[SUCCESS] 13700k Gigabyte Z790 UD AX RX 580 build

After trying the official Opencore guides (fail), and trying the EFI folders of people with similar (but different) builds (think Z690 instead of z790, or 12400 instead of 13700k, or UD AC instead of UD AX etc), which also failed, it finally worked with this

(although I also disabled secure boot, which that guide doesnt mention)

Geekbench seems a little low though



Any tips on the geekbench? I have xmp profile 1 enabled, and the one-click preset "6ghz" overclock on the cpu (where it turns 2 cores to 6, or something like that)

It bumped it to 2868 (single core), and 17361 (multicore). Unbelievable. Why would anyone ever use macpro7,1 then? To get the cool "about my mac" picture?

because on the smbios 7,1 we use CPUFriend.kext and CPUFriendDataProvider.kext to give us the pro 1,1 cpu settings.
