Pre Update Notes
:
- This update may break some of your Ventura functions. Make sure you backup first.

Note: Before you update:
- Clover users must first disable or remove BlueToolFixup.kext in order to update. Otherwise the software update doesn't initialize it crashes System 'Settings'.
- make sure your USB ports are properly mapped. I recommend you use this procedure:

Here's the step by step way to update OC:
- Make sure you use the latest versions of the Lilu.kext, AppleALC.kext and WhateverGreen.kext.

:ch:
Backup your current installation using Carbon Copy Cloner or SuperDuper;

:ch:
Update to the latest Clover or OpenCore 0.9.4 or newer.
See the tonymacx86 Clover Builds (in Download menu) to update Clover. To update your OpenCore, see this guide. To convert from Clover to Open Core, see this guide.
:ch: Download OCAuxiliaryTools (OCAT):
https://github.com/ic005k/OCAuxiliaryTools
:ch: Follow the OCAT Guide:
https://github.com/5T33Z0/OC-Little-Translated/blob/main/D_Updating_OpenCore/README.md
:ch: After completing the Update, reboot.
:ch: Upon reaching the Desktop, open the Terminal and execute:
Code:
nvram 4D1FDA02-38C7-4A6A-9CC6-4BCCA8B30102:opencore-version
Confirm you have updated OC to 0.9.4 or newer.

:ch:
Download the Ventura 13.6.1. Update from Apple's Mac App Store using System Preferences > Software Update, and run it - the updater will reboot upon completion.
Note: Update will reboot two times; each time Clover/OpenCore picks the correct boot partition. So, sit back and relax.

:ch:
Done! So far, another easy update!

22-minute update from 13.6 to 13.6.1 (and to Safari 17.1) from beginning of download to request for Apple ID. No problems noted. (Seems rather a long time for a 3rd-decimal point update.)

Gigabyte Z490 Vision G | i5-10600K | Asus ROG-Strix RX6600 XT | OC 0.9.4
No issues with the update. Rebooted a few times.

Easy install here. I'm sticking with Ventura until I pick up an Intel AX210 PCIe Bluetooth/WiFi card and get to 14.3 or 14.4.

Easy install. No issues.

Gigabyte Z390 Designare | i7-9700K | Sapphire Pulse 5700 XT | OC 0.9.4
All good.

A bit off-topic but there's 13.6.2 update, my M1 laptop got it but I don't see an option to update to it on my Hackintosh, nor can I find a direct download for it either, I'm only getting 13.6.1 as the latest update. Is 13.6.1 the latest for Intel macs and 13.6.2 for Apple Silicon only?
