Hello when I go into the Audio Midi Setup utility and select the Window drop down menu in the Finder menu, I can see "Show Network Device Browser" as a selection but it is greyed out. I'm guessing I'd have to physically connect some AVB compatible hardware device to one of the two Ethernet jacks on my Hack to see if Network Device Browser "un-grays"? I'm not sure if either Network port is AVB compatible. I've also see Sonnet Tech makes an AVB compatible PCIe Network card. Is there an easy way I can test/check to see if my setup is AVB compatible without spending serious $$ on AVB hardware?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

I have a presonus console with the avb output I just connected it cause I have some issues with usb audio, but I don't see the AVB thicker box under the network/hardware tab.

So I'm not sure if my Z390 is compatible (I have 2 ports ethernet) or if I should by a pci card.
What did you do finally ?

Yes I went ahead and purchased a Sonnet PCIe Network card that supports AVB. Once it was installed it showed up in Network Device Browser.

out of interest, which Sonnet PCIe card did you use?
I have tried with an Intel i210 card which should support AVB, but it doesn't show up in the "Show Network Device Browser" in Audio MIDI Setup.
