GA Z390 I Aorus Pro Wifi - Install Problems

I assume your board is the same as mine (z390 aorus pro wifi rev 1.0) and you're running the latest Clover 5103 and all your kexts are up to date. With the files I gave you, you should be golden with small changes on your side. The only thing that comes to mind is, my rig is running the latest BIOS version 12d so your USB ports maybe slightly off with the two files I sent you. USBInjectAll.kext will get you started but is not a long term solution, setting the port limit at 15 is the correct number of ports for Mac OS but you can sort that out another time. This line - 'A whole bunch of apfs_load_inode_internal' - Not running the latest Clover????!!!!!.

I haven't had time to troubleshoot since my post but I've done some searching. I read a post about Catalina updating the file structure to APFS and then people having boot problems, but I see you have ApfsDriverLoader.efi as part of the EFI folder. I'm using the version of Clover that came with Unibeast 10.0 for Catalina. I'll update the BIOS and more troubleshooting this evening....

For this mobo being on the buyers guide I'm surprised of the problems so far :(

Again, really appreciate your help esafeddie.

As I said in #10, I could never get to the installer using your USB port kext, so I removed it and added USBInjectAll.kext. This allowed me to finally get to the installer to upgrade. The upgrade appeared to go smooth, after reboot I'm getting the apfs_load_inode_internal error when booting into Catalina.

Do you have the Z390 I or not? You list it in you sig.

I can’t see where the ’I’ came from in my profile but my board is definitely a Z390 AORUS PRO WIFI rev 1.0. running BIOS 11c. I am away for the weekend won’t be back until Monday I will upload full details of my rig. Google my board and see detail.
