1st screenshot of the error

2nd screenshot

My set up:
ThinkPad T520
Intel Core i7 processor i7-2630QM
4GB of RAM (had 8GB, but removed half due as per guide's recommendations)
Nvidia NVS 4200M GPU
240GB SSD

I'm currently using tonymac's Multi-booting for the novice guide (http://www.tonymacx86.com/snow-leop...tibooting-novice-updated-3-12-see-log-12.html). Currently stuck at step 1k- when I click OSX in iBoot, the screen linked above comes up.

I'm totally at a loss as to what I should do at this point. Snow Leopard (which I installed via a new retail disc) Any suggestions? I've already set the SATA mode to AHCI.

Your post was moved to the Laptop section as you posted it to the incorrect section.
Anyways information needed about your laptop
We will need to know the physical aspects of the system - such as the CPU that this laptop has is Sandy Bridge unit -
info found here
http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Core_i7/Intel-Core i7 Mobile I7-2630QM.html

You can get some ideas on the T520 by doing some searchs in the laptop forum
also
this link discuss the t520 and installing osx -
you should see if you have the latest bios installed ( do not install BETA bios)
http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/258562-lenovo-thinkpad-t420t520w520/

lots of issues w this - nvidia drivers which are what appears in the pic's you posted -
again the bios controls a lot of this

also you will need to use a command line switch 's
-x -v -f acpi=off PCIRootUID=0 GraphicsEnabler=No
see if that helps....
You may also want to try both the Legacy iBoot and the 3.3 version to see which is easier to install with.

Do read the FAQ - which governs comments about this site.

I know this is an old post but thought I gave a hint that might help some people.
I'm trying to install High Sierra on an Asus N55SF with this same CPU.
I got a kernel panic when using the standard MacBookPro8,1 for SMBIOS in my config.plist.

Although that looks like a fit for the hardware I read somewhere to try iMac13,2 and I did that.
While I still saw a message about unsupported CPU, the installer booted for me.
Try to look which hardware may fit your setup best regarding this.
